Unique among the family, Redbreast Moscatel Wine Cask edition is a single pot still whiskey, triple distilled, initially matured in a combination of bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks, before embarking on a final finish in Moscatel seasoned wine casks from Bodegas Quitapenas based in the south of Spain. Expect notes of sweet tangerine and orange peel, along with chamomile tea, nutmeg, and cedarwood. The wine influence imparts vanilla, with notes of floral honey and sugar-glazed fruits in addition to underlying notes of black peppercorn and clove.
