Hope's Limited Edition #38 is a red ale, with a healthy dose of American hops. Rooted in centuries of Irish brewing history, this traditionally a malt forward style has been tweaked with the addition of American hops. it’s a beer built on depth, warmth, and drinkability. It pours a pleasing deep ruby colour. Beneath the hops (El Dorado & Citra) sit caramel malt aromas; the flavour, too, is an interplay of caramel and toast flavours from the several different dark malts in the recipe, backed up by a robust bitterness and finishing with fruity flavours such as pineapple, grapefruit and watermelon. 

What is Red or Amber Ale?
Originating in Ireland and the US, these beers are malt-driven with caramel, toffee, and lightly toasted flavours. They are smooth, medium-bodied, and gently balanced by subtle hops. Perfect with grilled meats, sausages, burgers, and roasted vegetables.
