Otterbank's Session Series continues its journey, this time exploring the delights of the Citra hop. This tart session IPA was produced in Dublin at Third Barrel. We brewed a base heavy on oats with a very low amount of bitterness coming from Pacifica hops. Fermentation started with a lactic acid producing wine yeast before finishing off with a New England ale yeast & a healthy helping of Citra on the dry hop. The resulting hazy brew has notes of lychee & grapefruit with a lovely tart zing to the cheeks in the finish.
