Hope's 2021 Winter Seasonal is a well balanced stout, Firm hop bitterness gives way to a slightly citrus finish while the roasted malts contribute to notes of bitter coffee & chocolate as well as a creamy toffee sweetness which dominates the flavour. The grain bill includes umalted emmer wheat, an ancient form of wheat, grown locally at Cornstown House in Ashbourne.
