Excellent Food, Great Service

The Mc Hugh family have been in business in the local area for over 50 years since 1962 and have built up a reputation for high standards and customer service. We opened Mc Hugh’s Wine & Dine Restaurant in December 2008. Our aim is to serve great food and great wine at fair prices in comfortable surroundings.

Local head chef, John Poole, and all of his team are of the highest calibre and are focused on making each diner’s experience a pleasurable one. All of our ingredients are carefully sourced from the best farmers, butchers, fish-mongers and suppliers. We have used our 18 years experience in the wine business to put together a wine list which is full of quality and value.

We are very family friendly with plenty of high chairs, baby-changing facilities and colouring for the kids. Our kids’ meals are all prepared in our kitchens with the best ingredients.
